Prof. Satyen Bhattacharyya is a highly accomplished physiotherapist with qualification and experience. Dr.Satyen graduated from Rajiv Gandhi University, Bangalore where he was associated with renowned hospitals like Manipal and Wockhardt. He further advanced his studies to include a Masters in Physiotherapy (MPT) from Barkatullah University, Bhopal. Dr. Satyen Bhattacharyya completed McKenzie Part-A , Part-B, Part-C & Part-D under the instruction of Greg Lynch of New Zealand. He has learned Maitland Concept of Mannual Therapy from K. Pearlson of Bangaluru. Later he has successfully completed Certificate course in Orthopaedic Mannual Therapy (COMT) from Dr. Deepak Kumar where he learned complete Mulligan approach of Mannual Therapy. Dr. Satyen Bhattaharyya also treats patient with Dry Needling which he learned from Craig Smith (Former South African Cricket Team Physio). Dr. Satyen is highly efficient in the field of Pediatrics Physiotherapy which he learned from Jane Styer Acevedo and Lezlie Adler of Neuro Developmental Treatment Association, USA. He has done Diploma in Osteopathy from The Osteopathic College of Ontario, Canada under guideance of Dr. Steve Sanet. He also has done Fellowship on Osteopathy & Manipulative Therapy from SBS University & IHC, Australia. Recently he has completed MSc in Osteopathy from Desh Bhagat University. Dr. Bhattacharyya awarded for "TEACHING EXCELLENCE" in PTCON 2019. Dr. Satyen is now Accredited Tutor of INDIAN SCHOOL OF ADVANCE BIOMECHANICAL CORRECTIONS He worked as a Sports Physiotherapist in Sports Authority of India (SAI) Burdwan. Now he is Associate Professor of Burdwan Institute of Medical & Life Sciences (BIMLS), one of the renowned Physiotherapy Colleges in West Bengal. He is having teaching experience of around 12 long years. He is also B.O.S. (Board of Studies) member of Brainware University, Swami Vivekananda University,Kolkata. Dr. Satyen is Guest Faculty of Kazi Nazrul University, Asansol & Tripura Institute of Paramedical Sciences, Agartala, Tripura. He has done his research on Low Back Pain & Manual Therapy. He has various publications on several UGC indexes journals and international journals. He has been selected as Research Guide at The Westbengal University of Health Sciences recently. He is a Life Member of Indian Association of Physiotherapy & Federation of Indian Manual Therapist. He has conducted several Workshops on Manual Therapy, Dry Needling, Taping, Cupping through out the country & abroad.

In terms of Fit O Fine WORKSHOP, we always try to give the best possible knowledge to the students & give them constant support afterward. We arrange refresher classes for practice.
Our Therapeutic Gym is different from others where we individualized the exercise protocol according to their health issues. We have Yoga & Pranayama classes for our gym goers. We give less emphasis on weight training rather we focus on fitness with proper exercise and diet.

Is physiotherapy painful?Therapies generally don't hurt, but we don't say it's not going to hurt.
